Customers praised this Ryzen 7 laptop for its "excellent value" and strong performance for gaming, school, and creative work. Many noted fast processing, metal chassis, and backlit keyboard. However, some reported power button issues, battery draining quickly during gaming, and inconsistent sleep mode when closing the lid.
The laptop was good except it froze and restarted every one hour or two. The support team was very responsive and are still helping me with it, just waiting on a response for their incorrect replacement
The only issue I have is the fingerprint reader is non-supported, as no Linux drivers exist for the particular chipset used. The one issue aside, the laptop works very well for me. Compiles wine32 in about 17 minutes. I appreciate that it supports 2 NVME drives. I use one for the OS and the other for /home. System 76 sells a Linux specific laptop that uses the same AMD Radeon™ 780M gpu.
15.6 N158 Ryzen 7 8745HS Laptop
This works great, I bought this to use while traveling away from home. I tried out a few games without any issues, only thing is if your environment is warm the blower is loud, otherwise
I’m very happy with this laptop.
I received the laptop but the power button is not operating properly. Sometimes I press the power button and the laptop turns on. Sometimes not. I am working with customer support who keep asking me if the laptop is plugged in. The laptop is plugged in and has power. The power button doesn't work.
15.6 N158 Ryzen 7 8745HS Laptop
Awesome! The only problem is that the laptop doesn't sleep when you close the lid. The next time you turn it on, you actually have to press and hold the power button to turn it off then turn it back on.Other than that, it's a great machine and I love that it has a metal chassis. Plastic chassises Crack easily and that is basically like throwing away money.Enjoy!
Perfect. I'm able to do what I need on here, mainly got it for roblox and sims 4 which I'm able to play no difficulty at all! Also make sure to update everything when you get this laptop otherwise you'll have to do 20 different updates at a time. I have to get used to the layout of the keyboard because it has extra features but that's fine. 5/5 stars! Hopefully this will at least last me a decade because I really don't want to buy anymore technology anytime soon 😅 This is perfect for light gaming as it says. Tech savvy people will convince you to get a laptop or PC powered by an astronaut, it's really best not to listen to them if you're a simple laptop user like me.
good。nice
Good but some reason it won’t take my headphones
So far is working great !!If anything changes I will update
Affordable price, great quality!
My very first Windows Laptop. Am enjoying the performance of the AMD R7-8745HS & 780M GPU. The 60hz display is a bit of a let down for gaming although am using an external monitor w/ mouse & keyboard. Supports up to 144hz @1080p and 120hz @1440p.The fans are very loud (guess expected for a laptop). My main concern with the laptop is the speakers are positioned on the bottom so audio is a bit muffled and not the best quality. My iPhone 7plus has better sound clarity/output.Coming from a desktop with a i5 12600k & RTX 2080 TI, Very happy with the price at $649.
so smooth
To begin with I will say the price is well worth the laptop, the cpu is powerful so you can run games like Minecraft and other low to mid level graphic games. But for collage it is well worth it, especially if you want something that looks nice and won’t need a to upgrade for 4 or more years. The battery is also amazing only problem is when gaming it can drain quick but the charger it comes with is more than powerful enough to keep up and add more charge for this laptop. It can make some noise but not to the point it is in your face. Over all I will say it is well worth it for collage and light to mid gaming.
This the first time buying a laptop that is NOT hp. This laptop works and looks amazing. Great value for the money! Fast delivery. Some reviews pointed out the setup was kind of slow, but not mine. I would have given this laptop a 5 star if it wasn’t for the fact that the link says it’s a 32gig instead of a 16gig, bit overall I am very happy!
Great starter pc.
Haven’t had any trouble with it for either games or school work
Good for the price I got it.
Had a slight hiccup with the first one delivered, but their customer service was amazing. Sent the broken one back and had a new one delivered in 2 days. Works as I need it too.
So far so good. I bought this for online school which starts in September. Played with it a little bit, and it is fast. Great screen size. So big!
I was cautious in purchasing another laptop, from someone else before this one, and I was pleasantly surprised. It works wonderfully and make so much easier when playing my games. Perfect. Is as it says.
I've had this guy for almost a week and it's pretty powerful! For playing games and creating/productivity!The charger brick gets really hot while charging though, hence the 4 stars
Great laptop, able to game and stream. Bought one for my daughter
I am replacing a 1 yo HP 17" (yes only one year old) that was too slow. I only use this laptop for browsing and at night. A backlit keyboard was a must and this delivered. Fast performance was a deal breaker. I took a chance on this off brand laptop. And so far we have a winner. The screen quality is excellent and set up was a breeze. Still learning the different keyboard layout. But at least it does not take two hands to page up/down go home or end like my old Lenovo. For the money this laptop, as of this moment, is a great value at the current price. I HIGHLY recommend you open the box and check the color before removing to ensure it is what you wanted. I ordered the Rose Gold but received the Blue. Although cosmetic it was a little disappointing but not worth the hassle of returning.
It was alright could have been better ran great when I turned it on but it could not run crimson desert. Might need some work but still a good looking labtop. Buy it at your own risk. But if you want it for crimson desert I would say don’t buy it.
This laptop is awesome and is more than enough...for what I use it for! If you're thinking about buying this laptop...go ahead and make the purchase! Battery life is great, it is very quiet, it looks great, it is indeed fast, the screen is a nice size and it is very easy to use!
So far, has been a great product tor gaming and general use. I love the color and the fish, very cute. Battery life is good. Works as expected, graphics are amazing.
Great gaming laptop for the price. I play a lot of Indie games, story driven, and point & click games. Recommend for casual gaming.
I spent a lot of time researching and this is the best laptop I have ever had. Super happy with the simplicity and ease of use! Thank you so much.
