Very nice, works great. Sometimes a little slow but its nothing awful
I previously made the mistake of trying to replace my decade old Toshiba laptop with one of those $150 USD "bargain" laptops being sold on a cable channel home shopping channel. It was all flimsy plastic and had a cramped 14" screen and, within months of getting it, cracks started forming around the hinges and weird horizontal and vertical lines began appearing on the screen! It had Win10 and was almost as slow as my old Toshiba that had Win7 in it. They said on the show that it was a "new" laptop. Yeah, it was new only because it hadn't been previously used and was sitting gathering dust in a warehouse somewhere. They neglected to mention that it had a processor chip in it that was over 5 years old and which, along with the device's 3 Gb ram, could not be upgraded to Win11. About one year after I got it, I had to dump it in our recycling bin!
With the new Nimo 15.6" "Young Book" I replaced it with, I immediately noticed a HUGE difference. The new Adler Lake N100 chip was letting me simultaneously stream HD videos on up to four separate tabs and the color and resolution were astounding. Cold boots take about 10 seconds and I've never seen webpages along with their graphics download so fast. How much do I like it? If it was damaged or stolen, I would immediately purchase another one!
However, I did have one problem. Those little rubber pads and the strip on the bottom of the laptop are only held on with double sided tape. When the weather got hot, the glue started to melt and they peeled off! That plus my habit of sliding the laptop across a table top did not help. I managed to fix the problem by putting them back in place and then covering them with strips of wide postal tape. My advice to Nimo would be to have those little rubber pieces have small taps molded into them which would then be pressed into holes in the laptop's case. In other words a mechanical attachment.
Other than that, it's a great all round laptop. With a 16 Gb ram and 1 Tb of internal storage, I'm "future proof" for the next decade or so. I'll still be using this even if Microsoft comes out with Win15!
I am impressed with the packaging, performance, and barely noticeable fan. I run a dual booting Windows 11 and Ubuntu 24.10 environment. Very well done.
I've had it for a couple of weeks now and it's great. I've been able to do light gaming on it without any issues. They originally sent me the wrong laptop, probably mixed up mine with the other recent review that said the same thing, but they then sent me a correct one quickly.
I have had this Laptop over 4 months now (bought on Amazon) and it has surpassed all my expectations for the price of the PC. The display is nice and large and is 1080P and it doesn't cause strain on the eyes from glare. The backlit keyboard is very helpful in dark situations and the ability to block the camera lens is a great security feature.
The best things about this Laptop is it's AMD Ryzen 5 6600H Processor, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of SSD storage. This AMD processor is fast and snappy and the integrated GPU can handle Gaming graphics comparable to the XBOX ONE/PS4 era. I highly recommend this Laptop!
I recieved the wrong one first and customer service immediately remedied the issue and sent me a new one. I had some issues with UPS, but they weren't Nimo's fault. So far I love it!!

Arrived on time and in good condition. Fired right up and has worked well for the two weeks I've had it. I mainly use it for web surfing and light computing. Hopefully it will hold up and give years of trouble free service.
I needed to purchase a Windows 11 PC since windows 10 will no longer be supported. My old tower pc was tired and sluggish. I just needed it for a basic computing purposes like Word processing emailing, faxing, photo and video editing. Also some light online gaming. I chose Nimo because it is made in the USA and a lot of mini PCS available on Amazon are made in China and a lot of people complain about malware being pre-installed in the registry and needing to do a complete Windows 11 install to assure they're safe. I had recieved the same Mini PC from Nimo for Christmas 2024 from a family member and I tested it thoroughly and found no security issues at all. I am amazed at how quick it starts up and how fast it is aong with how cool it stays given the fact it's a tiny Mini PC and it's very very quiet. I use it every day And it is Good as new Since day one. I was so satisfied with my Nimo mini PC that I recently purchased the same one for my mother to replace her Old Dell tower that has Windows 10 on it. I ordered directly from Nimo and ordered the same configuration as mine. Macroon 1 tb ssd hard drive and 16 gg ddr 4 ram. It was on sale for $149 and arrived in about 2 days. Windows 11 pro updates itself with the latest software upon startup. Took about 30 minutes. So far it's working as good as the first one. I am extremely satisfied with both Nimo Mini PCs. Excellent bang for the buck.
Works exactly as needed. Graphics look great. Speeds work great for what games are played.
I'm a software engineer and a gamer. I've always purchased gaming laptops with beefy GPUs that can handle both activities well.
However, I've been getting tired of the short battery life, extra weight, and large charging bricks. When I'm programming, I often like to move around the house to different spots, and my old gaming laptop wasn't very convenient for my nomadic tendencies.
This laptop is perfect for me. It's pretty light considering its screen size, gets good battery life, and can plug in anywhere I have a USB-C charger (which is everywhere I typically sit).
The processor powers through large solution builds with ease. It's an absolute beast. The keys feel great to type on. The screen looks good and can get pretty bright when needed.
It obviously doesn't run games as well since it has an integrated GPU. But for an iGPU, it's pretty impressive. I can run Warframe on medium settings with FSR enabled and get a steady 60 FPS.
For more graphically-intensive games, I can use in-home streaming to my PC.
Overall, I'm incredibly impressed with how much quality hardware you get for the price.
it’s good for the price. definitely a little plastic and could do with some higher quality speakers but again, really not bad for the price point. with all my mods it was still under $600 and does what i need it to do :) thanks Nimo
Nice laptop but a few glitches. Twice while using chrome it just locked up, no responses to mouse. Once it somehow activated airplane mode while I was watching a video, also in chrome. I do wish the lighted keyboard was on by itself rather than being on only after hitting a key, not great in the dark but only a minor thing. Still have a couple months to determine if I will keep it.
The actual laptop is great so far. It would have been 5 stars, but I received the wrong model laptop. I contacted Nimo, and they sent me the correct one very quickly.
Laptop arrived quickly and was easy to set up out of the box. I had a great customer service. I don't know what people are waiting for and sleeping on this more affordable laptop.
