17.3 N179 Ryzen 7 7735HS Laptop

Followed all the steps provided, did not fix webcam issue, detecting no cameras found. I was able to mail it back and requested a replacement giving Nimo another chance since it is hard to find a pink laptop now a days with the same specs.

Love Nimo laptops! My daughter introduced me to Nimo laptops. I have bought a 16" as well as this 17.3"

Works with Debian 13 Linux out of the box. Good for business. Wiped Windows out. Fast installation from USB stick

Outstanding. Crisp, smooth, solid feel. That's just out of box.Maybe I have never had this powerful of a processor, maybe it is the awesomeness. However running Fallout 76 has never been better, console level graphics. No lag, the download was super fast. My old PC (hp) took all day to download and install 15g files. The straight performance and value for this 17+ inch screen is unmatched. Impressive battery. Screen size is fantastic. Opens up flat enough could easily be wall-mounted for space saving environments. My only regret is not having purchased the system with more RAM. Ddr5 ram is 200 for a 16g card alone. The duel fan cooling is best, the extra noise is worth it. The raised bar on the bottom is a great touch for flat surface raising. Let's face it when it is operated at performance it works as a lap warmer and will over heat without venting. All in all even the shipping surprised me. Was here when it said it would be (and we live in an isolated area where it is on time a day late typically)

So far, so good. Brilliant screen and fast

Great Deal I’m in love with it !

Honestly its a great laptop runs amazing I had to clean it due to the fact it came loaded with alot of redundant programs on it for a "gaming" laptop but outside of that its great id buy it again

The case feels a little on the flimsy side, but I expected that after reading the reviews before purchasing. I was willing to make that sacrifice for the added performance at this price point. Virtually no bloatware and very easy to set up. The fingerprint scanner works about 70% of the time, but I also expected that from reading the reviews. It has been very quiet, and has not been prone to getting hot. The screen is beautiful, and the onboard microphone is really good for my Zoom calls. The one big disappointment was that I thought I could add my 2 TB PCI hard drive to set up a D drive for extra storage, but there is no PCI connector. So keep that in mind because it only has a one terabyte SSD. I will have to attach my 2 TB external hard drive.

I really like this machine. I have had many Dell and HP laptops over the years and this Nemo will out-perform any and all of them.

Very fast laptop and reliable. I do find it difficult with a hot keys they don't work like the original Windows hotkeys not sure if it's the laptop or if it's Windows 11

This is an amazing laptop at a great price. The setup was easy and painless, it runs really fast, has a great addition of Windows 11 Home, and it's perfect for school and work. The seller is responsive and the shipping was next day. I am very satisfied with my purchase.

This seems to be an excellent product, doing exactly what it is advertised to do, now for over 3 months.

Overall excellent build and quality. Love the full function USB C and works perfectly with my work docking station. The wide screen and light keyboard is a plus.

Not disappointed at all great packaging, presentation on point runns smooth

My son loves it. He’s very happy.

Bought this for my adult son. He loves the speed and ability to connect it to his TV for gaming as well as using it for school. He's had it 1 week. Will update review if anything changes. It's a great buy for the quality and price!

This a great computer, I was surprised at how nice it really is. It has a good battery Life, It is a lot faster than my old HP. I was able to get the features I wanted for a lot better price, The lighted Keyboard , wide screen, I love the blue color. I am really happy I got this computer

Please read before buying. This gaming laptop is very nice especially for the price. It can play sims 4 with mods, vanilla Minecraft, Roblox, and Fortnite (on low settings it runs pretty around 40 fps which for a laptop is really good! Now here are things to consider, it is a laptop so don’t expect 24 hours of gaming on this battery, the heavier the game the more it drains. Next the fan is pretty loud so if you kids are trying to get a sneaky “quiet” laptop that your parents won’t hear. Yeah that’s not gonna happen with this haha! The size is really nice for gaming and the speakers on it are really nice also. Now why 4 stars and not 5? Well I only had it for a week now and anything can happen between then and now. So if anything happens I will update this review, better or good. Definitely recommend it so far!

Great value

I love it!! Its fast and the display is very easy on my eyes

La portátil funciona muy bien y su rendimiento es acorde a mis expectativas, hasta ahora es un producto altamente recomendado

Was just what I was looking for. Does what I need it to do and fast

[Edited for length] The short review is that this is a nice machine. I use my laptop primarily for remote access to customer systems and my own lab when away from home and for working away from my desk while at home. I am not someone who understands this trend of making a "laptop" screen roughly the size of a phone, so I was happy to see a 17.3" screen size with plenty of configuration options at reasonable prices.Overall the experience has been good. The Ryzen 7 with 16GB performs well for every task I've put to it so far, compiling some Python, watching videos, editing documents and presentations, remote desktop and putty sessions, web usage, etc. Startup is a little slower than I would expect for something with an NVMe drive on a pcie 4.0 drive, but i have yet to tweak the BIOS settings or do much in the way of optimization like I do with my systems. One of the great things about this system and it appears most if not all their laptops is they are not fixed in configuration and have at least some repairability to them. I've seen reviews talking about their system only having 4 screws in the bottom panel, but I think that is what they do for systems you buy directly from them and are handling ram and drive install yourself. Mine came with the full set of screws in it, but they were removable with a standard 00 phillips bit no problem. It didn't take a spudger or anything to get the bottom of the chassis off, just a simple following around its perimeter to pop all the clips after taking out the screws. There are 2 RAM slots, and my 16GB system came with a single Adata 16GB DDR5 SoDIMM in it, so I can easily upgrade to 32GB with another chip. There is a second M.2 NVMe slot that overlaps the WiFi M.2 slot and allows you to install a 2nd drive very easily. There's not enough clearance between the drive and the bottom cover it doesn't seem to install much of a heat sink on that drive, but there's enough openness in the chassis that airflow doesn't seem to be a problem and it should stay cool. So the brand gets massive kudos for making a system that you can improve on your own.The system is pretty light, way lighter than my older Dell. The screen is bright, and the backlit keyboard is a great feature not enough laptops have. The keyboard is a full layout with the number pad, but some of the layout is different than most laptops I've used, and I could of course like the rest of humanity do without a Copilot key that is utterly useless. The keys are responsive and typing isn't really a problem. One niggle here is that the power button doesn't light up, so telling whether you were successful in turning it on or if it is on requires looking at the screen just right. Not a show stopper, but since the keyboard IS backlit, it's a little weird not to have on of the most important buttons on the system not light up.The touchpad is a little too large for my liking. I am a touch typist so I rest my palms on the palmrest, and the trackpad is large enough that I'm having to adjust my angle of attack so I don't tap on the touchpad or my palm doesn't accidentally drag across the upper right corner. Turning down sensitivity doesn't really help as Windows touchpad controls are not that great. On other laptops I've seen touchpad controls that allow you to actually shrink the active area, and that would be much better. The fingerprint sensor has been responsive with no issues. It is placed strangely in the touchpad and would be more natural off to the right in the open space available on the palm rest, but so far it hasn't really gotten in the way.The one port I wish the unit had is an Ethernet port. I do quite a bit of work with my laptop in front of a server cabinet and being able to jack into a switch or server directly is helpful, but I have usb-ethernet adapters I can use so it's not that big of a deal.I love that this charges with usb-c. The wart it ships with is pretty big, but it does charge quickly. I have a number of 100W+ laptop chargers so it's good to ditch the giant Dell power brick for sure. Battery life so far seems to be pretty good. One thing Nimo could do better here is the 75Wh battery this came with seems a little small given the room available in the chassis and the screen power draw a 17.3" screen requires. Selling a larger battery option would be great since there's room and it would be super easy to replace in this system. The fan so far has been super quiet. If it has kicked in I haven't noticed, so under normal load I don't think it's going to be noisy at all. When playing a game, perhaps, but I haven't played anything yet that has kicked things into high gear. All in all, I like this machine. It's going to travel well as light as it is, being able to upgrade rocks and it performs great. It's not perfect, but no laptop is. For what they're charging I'll likely look at these for my kids when they need something new and be recommending them to family for sure.

I am incredibly impressed by the NIMO N179, especially considering the price point. I actually purchased two units—one in Rose Gold for myself and one in Blue for a friend—and both have exceeded expectations. As someone who manages several TikTok and YouTube channels, I use mine primarily for demanding video and graphics editing. It handles these tasks with ease thanks to the powerful AMD Ryzen 7 processor. My friend uses the blue model for retro-gaming and emulation, and it has proven to be a literal workhorse for him as well.Key Highlights:Charging: The move to a USB-C charger is a game-changer and a trend I hope to see all brands adopt.Connectivity: While I am picky about keyboards and prefer using a full-sized external setup, the Bluetooth connectivity for my peripherals has been flawless. The built-in backlit keyboard is a nice touch for when I’m on the go.Software: It comes with Windows 11 pre-installed, and the integration is seamless, modern, and very intuitive.Upgradability: After some research, I was thrilled to find how easy this model is to upgrade. Since my graphics work eats up storage quickly, I plan on upgrading the hard drive soon to keep everything organized without having to delete old files. If you are looking for a fast, lightweight, and capable machine without the "big brand" markup, I would buy this again in a heartbeat.

Used to dread business trips with my heavy 15-inch workstation. This 17.3" laptop under 2.1kg is a revelation. The compact dimensions fit perfectly in airplane trays while still giving me screen real estate.

Transferring RAW files used to take forever. The SD card reader and fast SSD make importing photos lightning quick. The 17.3" FHD screen displays my images accurately for editing. No more squinting at tiny displays!

Great laptop. Handles games well. 10-key layout is bit awkward, but that’s my only complaint.

My old laptop sounded like a jet engine during simple tasks. This one stays surprisingly quiet even when I’m multitasking heavily. The AMD processor manages heat efficiently without constant fan noise.
