I'll be using it for my astrophotography programs since macOS doesn't have a whole lot.

Easy to configure

So far, I am very satisfied with this laptop. I will hold off on a 5-star review until I explore more of its capabilities - I hope to launch a podcast at some point - but I have been impressed to this point. This is not surprising. I did a good deal of pre-purchase laptop research and the reviews for Nimo products were very positive.

Mine was on clearance, but even if it had not been on discount I’m happy with the purchase. Took a few hours to run installs and updates, but that’s normal. Looks good, does what I need it to, and manages multiple monitors via my HP docking station.

I have been using this laptop for about 3 weeks and I have really enjoyed it. It is great for homework, note taking, and work. The only issue I have run into is the finger print scanner will not work, however, this is mostly my fault. When I got the laptop I wiped Windows from it and installed Linux Mint and the this finger print scanner I can't seem to get working on Mint. I would imagine it would have worked perfectly fine had I just used Windows, but it does not bother me that much. Overall, it's a great affordable laptop.

Works quite well and have better performance than i expected but the battery doesnt last mearly as long as advertised. Ive been getting maybe 4-5 hours out of it not the 9 that they said.

The performance and overall build of the laptop for the price is an incredible value! The overall minimal packaging and design of the peripherals, like the included PD Charger was also an added bonus.

I purchased my first Nimo PC from Amazon. I like it so much that I bought another to give as a gift. They love their new laptop as well! Highly recommend their laptops! I wish they had the latest gen Intel processors, but they still have a great selection to choose from.

I'm happy with the laptop, especially the lit keyboard. My only complaint is that I can't get the fingerprint reader to work consistently. I've rescanned my finger several times to try and get it working but so far it's only worked twice. I have been busy and haven't contacted customer service but need to.

Works well but the keyboard, specifically the number pad area, is not normal. It has no enter key, most of the other keys that are not numbers are in weird spots. I may be able to get used to it but if I had noticed it in the pictures I probably would not have bought it.

Arrived on time and in good condition. Fired right up and has worked well for the two weeks I've had it. I mainly use it for web surfing and light computing. Hopefully it will hold up and give years of trouble free service.

After a couple of weeks, I am glad I made this purchase. For web development, this laptop runs fast without the extra bloat that typically bogs things down. And when the delivery carrier dropped it off to the wrong address, support responded to me quickly & coordinated with the carrier to make sure I received it. I would definitely recommend Nimo.

Excellent laptop for my brother it has nice features,finger lock,and runs smooth of course since its new. Iike the color it stands out. Plus if you buy extra storage it really helps in the long run. 👌

This laptop has only 4 screws on bottom can I purchase the remaining missing screws or do you know where I can find them

PC was working fine no complaints besides the refresh rate seemed slow when browsing. But 2 weeks later the touchpad has stopped working and I will be looking for a refund or replacement

I decided to try Nimo after years of using HP and Lenovo. I am glad I decided to give Nimo a try. The 90 day no hassle return sealed the deal to make the purchase. Anyone offering that kind of return policy must have confidence in their products. The packinging was great. Everything arrived intact and exactly as I ordered it. Set up was quick and easy. The touchpad is very responsive. The fingerprint reader works very well. I really like the backlit keyboard for low light conditions. Best of all - no pre installed bloatware like you normally get from HP and Lenovo. Just Windows 11 Home ready to go. I got the red/silver because I liked the higher contrast of the keyboard (black keys, silver background). The keyboard is quiet and has a nice haptic feel as you type. I am still getting used to the keyboard layout. I knew before ordering that it would be slightly different from my old laptops. The number pad does not have an Enter key on the right and the decimal is now atop the 9 key, but with a little more use it will become second nature to typr numbers with decimals. Startup is fast. Having 32GB RAM this machine is fast and responsive. Overall, great machine. Highly reccomend to anyone looking to upgrade their laptop. More bang for the buck and less hassle.

For the money, this is a beautiful laptop with a very reasonable price and construction. I like everything about it with the exception of the battery, which doesn’t last as long as I would like!

barebone is easy to work and upgrade.

I got this model to do some light word processing and maybe some graphics work down the road. So far everything is working well. The lighted keyboard is awesome im an old guy now (mid 40's) so it helps in low light or dark conditions. Definitely a big step up from the underwhelming performance of a chromebook.

If I have a complaint at this time it would be the charger module, it's a little bit bulky to just hang off the outlet. I have bumped it a time or two and it has come loose from the wall, otherwise it's working out well at the time of this review.

After two blissful years with my Yoga I7 the lid hinge broke although it still works i can't close the lid so it sits on the desk always and is no longer portable so i had to find a replacement sooner than i intended.
I bought three laptops In two months and had to send them back because i kept getting laptops that came without the ram and storage or features i paid for.
I was just about to try again but then i discovered a review on you tube of a brand i have never heard of so i looked into it and came away intrigued and impressed and i so i searched for a laptop that would suit my needs and my budget and i found the N156-I5-124500H WITH 32GB RAM AND A 1TB ssd hard drive and the price and the terms and the warranty were just too good to pass up
I promise you that you will never find a laptop with all of the standard features that are found on this model it's not possible to find the features you get for the price I paid.
So with that said here is my take on my experience the order went smoothly and unlike other retailers the service started before I bought this I asked questions and they were kind and worked hard to answer my questions and to calm my fears about buying a laptop from a new manufacturer and at no time did they take my questions or fears of getting what i wanted for granted.
They shipped quickly and sent tracking updates and when i got it I was still scared and had to psyche my self up to open the box and it was well packed and the I was pleasantly surprised to see a specification label that listed the ram and storage I ordered and the color and the name of the Tech who installed the ram and the SSD and everything that was advertised was there in the box and the Windows 11 setup took less than an hour with no problems at all.
So here goes the keyboard is perfect for me it even has the windows co pilot key my other laptop did not and the backlighting on the keyboard is great and the touchpad works great and the speakers are great for the money I mean they aren't bowers and Wilkins or Bose but they are good enough to enjoy my music playlists on Spotify.
the fingerprint sensor works every time without issues and whoever designed this feature must be left handed because of its location but its not a problem although it would be nice if it were located to the right.
The N156 boots up fast and is quick and can run multiple tabs with no problem and does not crash ,also the Wifi 6 works perfect and has no connection issues.
the graphics are great and i am sure i could play a games and so far the only game i have played is the Space X docking simulator and the visuals are very good
The N156 is built well and does not look or feel cheap in any way and I got mine in red and it looks beautiful.
I haven't been this happy with a computer purchase since 1986 and I am very impressed with Nimo and my purchase and in will more than likely buy from Nimo again and to whoever reads this if you're looking for a good square deal and a product or a company that doesn't make offers or promises they don't intend to keep.
If you're the average user than Nimo will get the job done and done well

I bought mine out of sheer curiosity, because some of these newer companies will surprise you!

I went with XP-Pen instead of Wacom for a drawing tablet back in 2018, and never looked back, so I figured I'd give these guys a shot... and I'm VERY happy with my purchase!!!

When transferring everything from my old laptop, there were times where I was installing 5 programs at once, while playing music on YouTube, and testing out the graphics on the games that I'd already transferred over!

The performance is fantastic, the screen is huge and crisp, the keyboard doesn't take a second thought to get used to, the speakers have an awesome "virtual surround" kind of sideways throw to them - I highly recommend installing an equalizer program, so you can get the most out of them.

Above all, the build quality is very pleasing in just how solid it is! I've paid a LOT more for big-name laptops that didn't feel half as good as this one does.

My only "complaint" is that it doesn't have separate buttons for the trackpad. It can get kind of awkward to use when trying to click, because the button spots detect movement like the rest of the surface. I'm sure it's just something I've got to get used to, to get right, but I just felt I should mention it.

Definitely a 10/10 from me. I plan on buying one of their top-of-the-line models, and gifting this one to my grandma soon. I'm so impressed with this one, that I want to see what this brand can really do!

Type-C compatibility means fewer cables to carry. Performance is outstanding!

I bought this NIMO laptop for my husband, and it’s fantastic! My husband is a designer and sometimes needs to work at night. This laptop has a backlit keyboard, which makes typing at night very clear and smooth. He really loves it.I also have to praise its screen—the FHD display is incredibly clear, making it comfortable for both watching videos and working. Additionally, the SSD is removable; I initially purchased a 1TB SSD, but my husband needed more storage space. With the help of the after-sales support team, I successfully replaced it with a 2TB SSD on my own.NIMO is a new brand, but their products and services are very mature. This has been a satisfying shopping experience!
