Customers praised this Intel N100 budget laptop for its "great value" with 16GB RAM and 1TB SSD, fast boot times, and 6-8 hour battery life. The backlit keyboard, fingerprint reader, and vibrant FHD display received positive feedback. However, some reported performance issues with multitasking, occasional slowness, and touchpad responsiveness concerns.
I really love my Nimo laptop. I actually got it for a family Christmas present, but liked it so much that I got another one.
The casing and hardware are exceptional for a $600 computer. The blue color is classy, in my opinion, and the screen is vibrant and clear. I have reasonably poor eyesight, so the larger screen and clarity are very appreciated.
The mouse pad fingerprint scanner works great for using Windows Hello to access your account. It is unobtrusive and doesn't interfere with regular mouse pad usage. The pad itself is responsive without having too many issues with false clicks when I use it.
The actual performance of the laptop is solid. The N100 800 MHz processor does the job, though I did have to do a little tweaking to keep the CPU from maxing out. Mostly removing some of the Windows applications that were running in the background and the usual Defender background settings that bog down the computer.
Nimo themselves seem like a great company. The product is assembled domestically (for those in the United States) and their 2-year warranty is a nice touch.
I purchased mine through Amazon, and it arrived quickly, was packaged well, and really presents as high quality out of the box.
I have chatted with our IT manager about my experience and would love to see us use some of the more business-minded versions of the Nimo product line. All-in-all this has been a win for me!
As an aside, I use it for recording music and doing some slight video work, so it works well for that.
So far im really liking this computer its working well with the few things im using it for. Browsing internet, cricut crafting
It is as you would expect for this spec. All the ones this price are of names you have never heard of. My previous one which went wrong just before a year, It is a nice colour backlit speakers visible on top of laptop either side of keyboard so sounds clear. 1TB SSD is great to create another volume so have a drive d, always worth doinbg.. card slot to ad another up to 2TB Its lightweight. 2 x usc C 2x usb 3 hdmi
I had a Dell that had all sorts of problems and was literally falling apart, but it ran faster than this one. This one takes minutes to boot up, running at near 100% cpu activity. It cant really be used during that time. Internet pages take a couple extra seconds to appear. Going from small to full screen on Youtube takes a couple of seconds. The keyboard is lighted but that function is not very useful while using it on my lap. The angle is wrong and the lights shine out from just below the keycaps and makes it impossible to see them. I have a lot of problems pressing keys with nothing appearing on screen. The fingerprint reader is hit and miss. I don't like having that OneDrive program copying all my data to lord knows where without even asking me. Seems like theft. The screen is good as is the feel of the keys. Seems nice and sturdy, which I especially appreciate after using that Dell.
Great piece of kit for work and good value
Love the laptop. My 9 year old grandson loves it also. Everytime I go visit he ask "grandma cane I use your laptop?" And he knows his way around it.
Works great. Stopped charging after 9 months but support was great. Suggested try charging with a different cord, did and charged right up. They then are sending me a new chargimg cord free. They answered right away also. Nice lightweight and charges fast
I purchased a Nimo laptop for my wife a few years ago. I was quite impressed with it. At the time I had a Lenovo. My Lenovo was the worst laptop ever; lid hinges broke twice. I noticed tat the Nimo laptop seemed to be physically built better. And so when my Lenovo finally kicked the bucket, I went looking for a Nimo. And I'm so glad I did. The ram, memory and speed are more than adequate for my needs. It's light weight and sits nicely on my (ahem) lap. And I like that it's not preloaded with manufacturer apps and utilities (like Lenovo or HP, etc.). It is simply a laptop. And it functions extremely well and more importantly (for me) seems to be built to last. My wife is still using hers; so now we have his and hers matching laptops (1 red and 1 blue). Personally, I highly recommend Nimo.
Fast shipping! Easy to setup and very fast!So far, very pleased with this laptop!
Good computer, plenty of processing power, good speed along with multi tasking capabilities. High capacity 1 tb ssd storage means you got lots of room to store everything you might need to have available. 16gb ram also gives the processing power to carry out most tasks, graphics, music, annimation etc anything you might want this computer for
Incredibly fast shipping. Kids mostly used laptop to play online games and it works great.
This was given as a gift and they had some minor issues at first, but received support as needed. With no problems at all
Me Encanta esta Marca de Laptop
Nimo customer service was very prompt returning a question I had. Very satisfied so far with laptop.
El equipo cumple con todo lo prometido. El único inconveniente es el teclado que es estilo usa y se me a dificultado en mi país Colombia
So far this laptop has been great. I’ve bought two of them and have been very pleased. Had a little problem with the second one but they replied back and got it fixed. Very pleased with their customer service
Really impressed and happy with this laptop, purchased to use as a scan tool for my boat, works quick and flawless, only downside is it is a bit heavy, but I don't carry it around so no big deal,
My husband ordered this for himself after getting advice from our daughter on the best laptops! He loves it and finds it easy to use and very fast. It’s very thin so not as heavy as his old one. He uses it at home so no need to carry it around. We use a mouse with it. I bought some sausage egg and cheese croissants
I bought these laptops for my employees at work. Very good processor and handles all of our systems we use. They are super affordable and comparable to what we've had in the past with much more expensive HP laptops. Great for everyday use and work functionality, like Office products, etc. But probably wouldn't recommend for gaming as there are much faster options out there, and will cost more money. Overall, I highly recommend this laptop to anyone looking for a functional, everyday use computer. We plan to buy one for our 12 year old daughter for her birthday.
We have purchased 2 of these laptops and both work great. We use them for college classes.
I love this little laptop. I used everyday and the only issue I have is with the finger print sensor it sometimes doesnt recognise my finger. But I love the battery and the speed.
Quality laptop for value for money dos everything that a brandname dos easy to use and set up really happy 😁 defiantly recommend this to everyone
I took a chance on this laptop and I'm so glad I did! I use my laptop daily and have always bought HPs in the past. I found that this one was much cheaper than other computers with similar specs. I was a little hesitant at first, because there wasn't many user reviews.First off, shipping was wonderful and I noticed that it had been shipped 10 minutes after ordering. I received it 3 days earlier than estimated. Second, this computer is fast. I've played a few games on it and it is able to handle them without any lag. The battery lasts several hours on a single charge.I'm really happy with my purchase and would buy again in the future!
This laptop is an absolute BEAST. Superb graphics, smooth keypad and keyboard actions, and it is fast as lightning.
This is a great laptop and a GREAT company! About 3 months after I purchased this laptop... it wouldn't start up. I contacted the company and they said to return it and they would replace since I used the laptop daily in my business. As I was packing the laptop to return I noticed a magnetic ruler stuck to the bottom of the laptop. I removed the ruler and the laptop started right up!What I really appreciate is the customer service of the company. In a world of basically little customer service this company was stellar! Would definitely buy from this company again!!
It is beautifully constructed, very solid too. Battery life is excellent and to buy a similar laptop with fingerprint reader and backlit keyboard would cost much more than this one did. I can't comment on the technical aspects because I'm an ageing dinosaur. The only negative aspect so far, is to do with the distance that I can be from the router before it loses the signal. About fifty feet away through several rooms my previous Lenovo would pick up the signal full strength, but the Nimo will be struggling at the bottom end of the scale.A minor niggle, I could easily add a repeater to improve the signal if it becomes tiresome.Other than that. I am absolutely delighted with it.
My brothers and I purchased this as a gift for my father. It was a great price and a really great Laptop. Very lightweight that he can tote it arou d
I’ve had this laptop for about three and a half weeks now.As someone who only uses Apple products, I was hesitant to switch but didn’t want to invest in another MacBook right now. When I first received this laptop, I was pleasantly surprised - it runs quickly, boots up almost instantly, and feels nearly as smooth as my previous Mac in terms of performance. While Apple still has stronger visual quality, the display on this laptop is decent enough and doesn’t really bother me. I’ve also grown comfortable with the Windows layout.I purchased this mainly for music production, writing, and light gaming. It handles cloud gaming well and performs nicely for everyday creative work as long as you don’t overload it.
Que es un buen producto, con óptimas funciones.
